Beast

1. Any animal other than a human; usually applied to land vertebrates. The bear can be a vicious beast when angry.
2. A domestic animal, especially a bovine farm animal. Oxen are used as a beast of burden.
3. A person who behaves in a violent, antisocial or uncivilized manner. When drunk he became a beast.
