Blackboard

1. A smooth, hard, dark-colored panel for writing on with chalk. I use a blackboard to teach my seminars.
2. Today, many blackboards now come in other colors, green and even white. Some times referred to as white boards they use erasable colored markers instead of chalk. Out of habit some still refer to them as blackboards regardless of color.
