Camp

Camp

1. A place where tents, huts, or other temporary shelters are set up, as by soldiers, nomads, or travelers. Our family open would camp on the Oregon beaches.
2. The people using such shelters. The noise woke the whole camp.
3. A place in the country that offers simple group accommodations and organized recreation, as for vacationing children. When I was young I went to a Boy Scout Camp each summer.
4. A military base. I lived months at Camp Gordon during my time in the army.
