Chop

1. A blow with an axe or cleaver. We had to chop down a tree that was leaning.
2. A cut of meat, often contain a section of a rib. We had a pork chops for supper.
3. A blow delivered with the hand rigid and outstretched. He gave the robber a swift chop to his shoulder.
4. Ocean waves, generally caused by wind. When we went fishing there was a slight chop to the waves.
