Elevator

1. A platform or an enclosure raised and lowered in a vertical shaft to transport people or freight. This elevator goes to the 45th floor.
2. The enclosure or platform with its operating equipment, motor, cables, and accessories. Please face the front of the elevator.
3. A granary equipped with devices for hoisting and discharging grain. The grain elevator lifted the corn into the top of the tall silo.
