Ginger

1. Perennial plants having thick branching aromatic rhizomes and leafy reedlike stems. Some people raise ginger as a cash crop.
2. Dried ground gingerroot. Put 2 teaspoons of ginger in the cookie dough.
2. Aromatic bulb used as seasoning. We use fresh ginger in many of our Chinese dishes.
