Glider

1. A light, engineless aircraft designed to glide after being towed aloft or launched from a catapult. Gliders were used in the D-Day landing in France.
2. A child's toy, often made of balsa wood. We flew gliders when we were young.
3. A swinging couch suspended from a vertical frame. I often sit in my stationary glider and enjoy the rocking motion.
