Judge

1. A public official whose duty it is to administer the law, especially by presiding our trials and rendering judgment. The judge gave the guilty man 20 years in the state prison.
2. A person officiating at a sports or similar event. The line judge called a foul on the defensive team.
3. To form an opinion on. I judge the man's character by the cut of his suit.
4. A person whose opinion on a subject is respected. He is a good judge of wine.
5. To form an opinion. I judge from the sky that it will rain soon.
