Leak

1. A crack, crevice, fissure, or hole which admits water, gas of other fluids, or lets it escape. Water leaked from the cracked pipe. The leak in the boat filled it with water.
2. The entrance or escape of a fluid through a crack, fissure, or other aperture. The leak gained on the ship's pump.
3. A divulging, or disclosure, of information held secret until then. One employee leaked the information about the new product.
