Referee

1. Sports. Games. An official supervising the play; an umpire. The referee tries to make sure the game is played correctly and fairly according to the rules.
2. Law. A person appointed by a court to make a determination of a case or to investigate and make a report on it. The referee help to sort out the truth in the lawsuit.
