Rim

1. The border, edge, or margin of an object. When you pour the coffee don't fill it to the rim.
2. The circular outer part of a wheel, furthest from the axle. The rims of the wheels of the old wagons had steel bands fitted to them.
3. A circular metal structure around which a wheel tire is fitted. If you run your car on a flat tire you may damage the rim.
