Ring

1. A circular object, form, or arrangement with a vacant circular center. The students sat around the teacher in a ring.
2. A small circular band, generally made of precious metal and often set with jewels, worn on the finger. Most married ladies wear a ring on their finger.
3. An exclusive group of people acting privately or illegally to advance their own interest. She was part of a drug ring.
4. Sports. A rectangular area set off by stakes and ropes in which boxing or wrestling events are held. The two fighters faced each other in the center of the ring.
