Stamp

1. A small piece of gummed paper sold by a government for attachment to an article that is to be mailed. Each letter must have a postage stamp on it.
2. To ring down (the foot) forcibly. The boy stamped his foot in response to his mother's command.
3. To imprint or impress with a mark, design, or seal. The King stamps all decrees with his official stamp.
