Swarm

1. A large number of insects or other small organisms, especially when in motion. The riverbank was swarming with insects.
2. A group of bees with a queen bee in migration to establish a new colony. We captured the swarm and installed it in a hive.
3. An aggregation of persons or animals, especially when in turmoil or moving in mass. The crowd swarmed the famous singer on the stage.
