Tie

1. A necktie. Often referred to as a tie. At that restaurant you must wear a tie.
2. To fasten or secure with or as with a cord, rope, or strap. He tied the dog to a post.
3. To equal (an opponent or an opponent's score) in a contest. The game ended in a tie.
