1. Annual or biennial grass having erect flower spikes and light brown grains usually ground into flour. The wheat producers in 2010 was China, India, USA and Russian Federation.
2. The grain of any of these grasses. ground to produce flour used in breadstuffs and pasts. We use wheat to make our breads.
