1. The horny, projecting structure forming the mandibles of a bird, especially one that is strong, sharp, and useful in striking and tearing; a bill. The beak is used for eating and for grooming, manipulating objects, killing prey, fighting, probing for food.
2. The spout of a pitcher. The pitcher beak helps you to pour fluids evenly and carefully.
