Crest

1. A device placed above a shield on a coat of arms. Their crest was an eagle.
2. An ornamental tuft, ridge, or similar projection on the head of a bird or other animal. Cockatoos and Cockatiels possess crests which may be raised or lowered at will.
3. The top of a hill or wave. Summer Street runs along the hill's crest.
