Junk

1. Discarded material, such as glass, rags, paper, or metal, that may be reused in some form. There is nothing but worthless junk in the cellar.
2. A Chinese flat-bottomed ship with a high poop and battened sails. Junks were efficient and sturdy ships that sailed long distances as early as the 2nd century AD.
