Wand

1. A thin supple rod, twig, or stick. The wand is most often used by modern Pagans, witches, Shamans and others in rituals, healing and spell casting.
2. A slender rod carried as a symbol of office in a procession; a scepter. The king can change the law with the wave of his wand.
3. Music. A conductor's baton. The conductor keeps the musicians coordinated by use of his wand.
4. A stick or baton used by a magician, conjurer, or diviner. He waved his wand and a dove flew out of his hat.
