Goggles
1. A pair of tight-fitting eyeglasses, often tinted or having side
shields, worn to protect the eyes from hazards such as dust, glare, or flying
debris. When welding always wear goggles. In the early 20th century, goggles
were worn by drivers of uncovered cars to prevent irritation of the eyes by
dust or wind.
