Peruvian Brown Headband

Displayed at left is the web color Peru. This color was originally called Peruvian brown. The first recorded use of Peruvian brown as a color name in English was in 1924. The color name was changed to peru in 1987, when this color was formulated as one of the X11 colors, which in the early 1990s became known as the X11 web colors.
