Aware
implies knowledge gained through one's own perceptions, as of the attitudes of

Cognizant
is a rather formal equivalent of aware: Our research indicates that the
nation's youth are cognizant of the law.
Conscious
emphasizes the recognition of something sensed or felt: It was an importance of

Sensible
implies knowledge gained through intellectual perception or through intuition:
