Our hosts brought out the famous Chinese liquor "Kweichow Moutai" (Guizhou Moutai in Pinyin. It is said that Chairman Mao favored this powerful spirits above all other. While Bernice and I begged off our friends sampled this brew. Kweichow was the old British spelling of Guizhou, a province in southern China, home of this famous drink, and quite expensive too.
