Fresh Raw Vegetables with Sauce. The sauce is a Chinese special: they call it "tian mianjiang," a sweet sauce paste made from soy bean, flour, etc. It is the same sauce often served with the famous Beijing Roast Duck. It was a delightful to have this fresh crisp vegetables dipped in the sauce. It quickly disappeared.
