Ye Ting, our army high-ranking general officers and Chiang Kai-Shek, Bai Chongxi, Chen Cheng, Gu Zhutong, Zhao Bosheng Kuomintang's and Liu Zhi high-ranking military officers studied at this school. Therefore the Baoding Military academy is known as the Chinese modern military officer's cradle.
