In Beijing in 1890 Eight-Power Allied Forces was tremendous threat to the Qing Dynasty government. In the West this was known as the "Boxer Rebellion." In order to maintain their rule, the court was forced to recruit training of a new army. They vigorously run a military school in Baoding.
