The Temple of Heaven Sweet Spring Well The water from this well in the compound of the Divine Kitchen tastes sweet. They used water from this well to make soup for the sacrificial ritual. Taoists in the Ming Dynasty said this had direct connections to heaven. Emperor Zhu Houzong believed it and named the well "The Heavenly Well."
