16. Sunday Noodles Lunch

We went to Church in Chengdu on Sunday. After Church we stopped for lunch at this noodle shop. We gave our cook the day off each Sunday so we were on our own for our food. Bernice had a paper with Chinese writing for one dish of noodles with red pepper and one without for her. She would show it to the man in the noodle shop each day. The lunch costs about ten cents US and was very good. We always enjoyed noodles in China. It is served with some spices, some vegetables, and a little pork. We still eat noodles here in Oregon from time to time.
