17. Church Gate

The Xinzheng Christian Church has under gone some major renovations since we were here in 1998. The gate has been completely redone and proudly proclaims the cross of redemption on its top. The gate is much wider than before. I remember how difficult before as all the bicycles tried to get out all at once. There are much more motor bikes now, a reflection of better times in China. Many old ladies come in their son's three-wheel motorbikes. If the foreground lie some of the new downspouts for the new sanctuary.
