29. Sewing Ladies

These ladies would wheel their sewing machines out each morning to a convenient location and set up a sewing business. Most had some material for sale but you could bring your own material. We would leave a shirt or blouse that we liked and they made a copy of it for you in about three days. In 1984 the cost amounted to about 50 cents. Paul had a suit made at cost of $8.00 US.
