27. Shoe Repairman

The kind man has repaired my shoes on several occasions. He put new sole on my shoe and made repairs. His usual charge amounts to about 15 cents to 25 cents. He makes shoe soles out of old tires that he cuts into the correct shape and sews on by means of an old machine just to the left of him. He can't speak a word of English but is always very helpful. You sit on his stool just to the left of the sewing machine. He shows up each day to do an honest day's work. He always has a smile for us.
