Chinese Construction - Methods and Materials 18. Sun Drying Bricks The fresh wet bricks are carefully laid out in rows with ample air space so they can dry in the sun. They must dry for some time before they can be fired in the kiln. Ladies do much of this work although they also can do virtually any of the jobs at this plant. This is truly a no sex discrimination organization.
