30. Noodle Factory

These were the racks where the wet noodles were hung to dry in the sun. You hope not too many birds drop by during the drying time. Actually there are few birds in China at this time. Chairman Mao had the people kill all the birds because they were thought to eat too much rice. When the bugs multiplied exponentially someone must have noticed the ecological damage. There were hundreds of racks of noodles drying. When they have dried they are then cut and packaged.
