Chinese Industrial Empire
18. Bernice Noll, Paul Noll,
In 1984 through 1988 you were paid in Chinese People's money that is not convertible. We invested in an electronic factory in Chongqing. Here we are inspecting the factory with the Chief Engineer and Manager. The factory makes UPS machines. In China the voltage is 220 volts, but it varies from 150 to 380 volts during a day's time. This is very destructive on electrical equipment, especially computers, copy machines, refrigerators and other machine. A UPS protects the machine by keeping the voltage steady, raising or lowering as needed. ⇦ Back to Page 17 On to Page 19 ⇨Return to Factories - Page 3 |
