4. Eating Out in China Noodle Shop These ladies run a small restaurant. In front are the coal-fired boiling pots of sauces used to flavor the dishes such as noodles they serve. Inside on the ground floor is about 8 tables. We often stop here for a bowl of noodles and a dish of hot fried peanuts after Church on Sundays. They have two rooms upstairs if you want some quiet with your food. We go to Church with 3 students and buy all lunch here. For the five of us, we pay about 3 dollars US, including tea. There are many, many noodle shops in every city. On to School Cafeteria 5 ⇨Return to Noll Food Scenes Page 1 |
