17. Eating Out in China

A Chinese Banquet

SIAS University hired a former Chinese Military Officer to teach the teachers Tai Chi. He invited Bernice and me along with Barbara to a banquet at a local restaurant. It was a most magnificent dinner. Marvelous food and a splendid display, at which the Chinese take great pride. We were greatly honored to be included.
