13. Eating Out in China

Dinner at a Student's Restaurant

We are having dinner at the restaurant owned by one of our students. She did so well at our classes that she has prospered financially. She owns several businesses, bars and restaurants in Chengdu. She was our youngest student and one of the hardest working. Some six years after she was our student we visited the city again and she hosted us to dinner. Also seated with us is Peng Yanbo, a student from ten years ago. His daughter studied with us ten years after we taught him. Peng spent a couple of months with us in the USA.
