Vulcanoid search techniques (#2)

• Use filters to block from yellow through UV
• Mercury-like Vulcanoids are not strong in these colors
• Avoid solar yellow, corona green and blue sky scatter from O2


• Image in the near-IR to Red wavelengths
• Vulcanoids will be just below "glowing red hot"


• Determine optimal exposure before the eclipse
• Image stars before sunrise or after sunset
• When Sun is 4.5 degrees to 5 degrees below the ideal horizon
