5. Town of Huangshan

We get off of the bus and off we go to the travel agency that handles our trip. They have an office here in the city. Ahead and to the right you see Bernice (green jacket) with Sam along side of her on our way to the travel agency office. Bernice and I will stay in a 3-star hotel and Sam will stay at a 2-star hotel. Cost and government regulations govern which hotel we must stay in. Tourist agencies will lose their license if the put foreigners in less than 3-star hotels. Sam stays in a 2-star hotel to save money. We have air-conditioning and Sam does not. We stay at the hotel for two nights. The three days trip costs about 800 Yuan or a little less than $100 US. That included hotels and bus travel.
