8. Sam's Bedroom

Sam has his own bedroom with very nice furniture. He seemed proud of his nice room. Sam, an very ambitious young man had gone to a three-year college. He now wants to get a four-year degree in Business and Marketing to assist in the family printing business. He will succeed and has become a born leader in his class. He was a member of one of the classes Paul taught at SIAS. His English impressed us. The 3 weeks he spent with us measurably improved his English. Forced to speak and listen to English can be one of the best and fastest ways to gain English proficiency. A good friend to both of us, he treated us very well. We learned quickly to love and appreciate this fine young man. He is now enrolled in a university in Beijing.
