19. Fossils at the Dinosaur Museum, Zigong

In the center of the museum is a large area with well-preserved dinosaur bones in abundance. There are many different dinosaurs here with the bones intermingled and jumbled in a heap. They have pretty much left them as they were found and just exposed the top layer. The signage is not yet in English but we can recognize many of the dinosaurs by their shape. It is fascinating and one can only wonder what caused all these great beasts to expire here in such numbers. Some of the bones have been scattered and some are fairly intact.
