Gold-eyed Monk with a red monk face plays a role in the list-opera "Two-Dragon Mountain," adapted from a story in "Outlaws of the Marsh." Gold-eyed Monk, Silver-eyed Monk, and Little Monk are asked by an official of Song to assist them in fighting the Liangshan outlaws.
