Beijing Opera - "Jia Family Chamber"

Jin Jia with a yellow broken-flower face, one of the 36 sworn brothers brought together by Shan Xiongxin in the "Jia Family Chamber."

One of several patrons of Chinese literature. He punishes wicked scholars, and waves a flag before the homes of families whose descendants will high honor in the Imperial Examinations. Jin Jia is known as the "Gentleman in Golden Armor."
