Beijing Opera - "Lion-and-Camel Ridge"

Green Lion with a green symbolic face plays a monster in "Lion-and-Camel Ridge." When Sanzang and his disciples arrive at Lion-and-Camel Ridge, they are stopped by a green lion, a white elephant, and a roc. Monkey subdues the lion and the elephant, but is tricked by the roc which captures and imprisons Sanzang. At the request of Monkey, the Buddha arrives and subdues the three monsters.
