Han Chang with a red broken-flower face is a character of the opera "Yang Paifeng." Han Chang was a great general in the Liao Kingdom. Yang Paifeng is a servant girl tending fires in the Yang family mansion. In the opera Han Chang captures Yang Zongbao, a general of the Yang family, and Yang Paifeng offers to go and rescues him.
