Dr. Mirta Martin - President of Fort Hays State University

After all the grads filed in my Chinese son Dr. Shawn Chen open the ceremony. They then introduced all the distinguished guests and there were many. At the end to this introduction he paused and said he want to introduce the audience to his American Dad, Mr. Paul Noll. He asked me to stand up and then told the assembled crowd the without Paul's help none of this was possible. I was moved to tears. After that speeches began some in Chinese and some in English with written translations provided to front row guests. Dr. Mirta Martin made the most notable and best speech. She spoke in English slowly and carefully pronounce the words so the Chinese grads could understand. Most of the others spoke too quickly and obliquely.
