Paul, Shanna and Mr. Chen

Shawn's father and I have been friends for many years dating back to 1984, a span of some 33 years. Back in 1984 his parents charged Shawn to be our responsibility in his upbringing and future life in America. At time they must have felt that they may never see him again. Future years would see my wife and I getting Shanna to the USA with her son. Eventually both Shawn's parents would come to live in the USA. In 1996 Bernice, I and Shawn would work together to start this great university.
