Dr. Jerry Li and Family -- Chengdu 1987

This is Dr. Jerry Li and his family. Jerry was our oldest student at 56. He kept telling me he was too old to learn and I told him he had to work harder. He became our best student. One evening Bernice and I became sick with food poisoning and he said he would look in on us later. We had gone back to our apartment. We got sicker and sicker and eventually lost consciousness. He came to see us and I told him we were seriously ill. He got and ambulance and we then spent two weeks in the hospital. He literally saved our lives. Had he not come I don't know what might have happened to us.
