Lujiang University Student Scenes

Esther Qiu

This is the lovely Esther Qiu. She was one of our outstanding students at Lujiang University in Xiamen when we taught there in 1994-1995. She spent many evenings with us then to practice her English. Her oral English is very good and she has an excellent vocabulary. She and her father took us out to dinner in Xiamen during our Spring Festival vacation. We ate a fabulous Mexican dinner at the 5-star Marco Polo Hotel. She went to church to translate for Paul in 1994-5 when we went to church in Xiamen. She was baptized this year and loves the Lord. She is a good friend and a fine ambitious young lady. She plans to get a degree in Australia of Commerce in Finance. Good luck to her. I am positive she will succeed in whatever she wants. She is a motivated young lady. We are very proud of her. She is sure enough of herself to disagree with me when she feels she is right.
